Dr Marcela Cespedes
Research Fellow
Queensland University of Technology
I completed my PhD in Statistics from QUT & CSIRO in 2017. I am currently a postdoc Research Fellow at the CSIRO developing and applying statistical models to better understand brain atrophy patterns over space (whole brain) and time (age) which is consistent with healthy ageing and Alzheimer's disease progression.
Research Interests:
Aerial statistics
Alzheimer's Disease
Applied statistics
Bayesian inference
Bayesian statistical computation
Neuroimaging
Spatial models
Spatio-temporal models
Qualifications:
Bachelor of Mathematical Science (Hons). UniSA
