Mr Aby Nasrawi
PhD Student
Monash University
Aby has an undergraduate background in Applied Mathematics and Physics. He completed his Bachelor of Advanced Science in 2015, graduating with honours, at Monash University, Clayton campus. He completed his Honours project under Tim Garoni's supervision, in the field of Markov chain Monte Carlo methods, where he studied the mixing time of the worm process for the face cubic model on cycles. Aby is currently completing his PhD in the field of Mathematical Physics, specialising in Markov chain Monte Carlo algorithms, the lifting process of Markov chains, and the asymptotic behaviour of mean length random walks on the complete graph.
