Dr Xuhui Fan
I am currently a Postdoctoral Fellow in the School of Mathematics and Statistics in UNSW, Australia, under the supervision of Prof. Scott Sisson and Prof. Robert Kohn.
Previously, I was a Postdoc Fellow in Data61, CSIRO under the supervision of Dr. Bin Li from Feb, 2015 to Aug, 2017. My Ph.D degree is obtained in University of Technology, Sydney on May, 2015, under the supervision of Prof. Longbing Cao and Prof. Richard Yi Da Xu. Prior to coming to Australia, I received my Bachelor degree in Mathematical Statistics From University of Science and Technology of China in 2010.
I have broad interests in machine learning, my previous work focuses on clustering, nonparametric Bayesian methods and metric learning. Now, I am exploring the wonderful world of Bayesian random partition models, symbolic data analysis and related interesting topics. Hope some results will come out to meet you soon !
