My name is Paula Sobenko Hatum I am an Oceanographer specializing in zoology and ecology, with emphasis on the behaviour and conservation of marine animal species. I have worked in the following subjects: environmental impact, bioacoustics, and behavioral ecology. I have experience in multidisciplinary expeditions, managing and operating various data collection and measurement equipment, and marine mammal observation. Currently, I am doing a Ph.D. at QUT (hosted by Science and Engineering Faculty). The general objective of my research is to use the Dynamic Bayesian Network (DBN) model to better understand and predict the resilience of marine ecosystems to extreme climate events.
