The Queensland Government Department of Agriculture and Fisheries (DAF) works to achieve a productive and profitable agriculture, fisheries and forestry sector by promoting sustainability and innovation. DAF provides leadership for the sector, which adds value to the economy and community. DAF's work includes: the management of community resources; applying science to improve production and products;leading the fight on animal and plant pests and diseases,;and working constructively with stakeholders for mutual benefit.
DAF's collaboration with ACEMS aligns with DAF's aim to improve the productivity and profitablity of the sector. Our latest collaborate research includes research on the impact of continuous drying on key production and performance criteria of engineered wood structural elements.
