The Cancer Council QLD (CCQ) is Queensland’s leading non-government community organisation in cancer control. They are committed to providing all Queenslanders with the best possible prospects of preventing, detecting, effectively treating and surviving a cancer diagnosis.
ACEMS is collaborating with CCQ to develope the Australian National Cancer Atlas, a project funded by CRC SI and the Australian Institute of Health and Well Being (AIHW). ACEMS will provide the cutting edge statistical methodologies required produce small area estimates of cancer risk and cancer survival risk across Australia.

National Cancer Atlas
Under the leadership of ACEMS CI Kerrie Mengersen, the Centre is working with the Cancer Council Queensland to develop the National Cancer Atlas, which will use cutting edge spatial statistical methods to map how the burden of cancer varies geographically across Australia.
