Dr Shovanur Haque

I am an Associate Investigator of ACEMS. I completed my PhD in Statistics on Data Linkage in November 2018 from Queensland University of Technology (QUT). My PhD research developed a Markov chain based Monte Carlo simulation approach (MaCSim). MaCSim can be used as a tool to assess a linking method or compare multiple linking methods. I have experience working at Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS) in the Data Integration and Access Confidentiality Methodology Unit. I have assessed existing data linking methods and developed a tool for automatic evaluation of a linking process. I worked as a Scientist (Data Analyst) at Department of Environment and Science. I also worked on a collaborative project on Loads uncertainty between QUT and DES. At the end of the project I wrote a report and ran two workshops.
