Ms Sayani Gupta
PhD Student
Monash University
I am a statistician pursuing PhD at the Econometrics and Business Statistics Department of Monash University under the supervision of Professor Rob J Hyndman and Professor Di Cook. Currently, I’m focussing on building statistical and visualisation tools for analyzing spatially distributed big time series data.
I was previously working with PAYBACK (an American Express Subsidiary) as a Senior Analyst, having formerly worked with KPMG as a Consultant. The challenging experience that I gathered while working in a live commercial environment and substantial exposure on predictive analytics as a part of my profession re-kindled my interest to study further and thus know more about their applications in the real world.
