I completed my honours in mathematics at QUT, using Bayesian inference to understand parameter uncertainty in a complex physiological coral calcification model. In the project I also demonstrated the use of a Bayesian analysis of model sloppiness for strategic model refinement.
My current research looks at developing an information criterion for model selection, in the space of applied ecological mathematics. I am also investigating uncertainty as part of a decision support team for a Great Barrier Reef modelling project.
