Ms Rose Crocker
Rose is a current M.Phil. candidate in Applied Mathematics at the University of Adelaide, working in the areas of Data Assimilation, Geophysical Fluid Mechanics and error quantification in ocean and climate models. She has completed concurrent degrees in the Bachelor of Science (Advanced) and Bachelor of Mathematics and Computer Science programs at the University of Adelaide, majoring in Physical Chemistry and Applied Mathematics. During her undergraduate studies, she undertook an AMSI Summer Research Scholarship project in numerical methods for Dynamical Systems with Associate Professor Sanjeeva Balasuriya. She has also undertaken an Adelaide University Research Scholarship in statistical techniques for modeling social media data, with Dr Lewis Mitchell, and research into the computational modelling of electron transport in solar cells, with Associate Professor David Huang.
