Dr Oscar Peralta-Gutierrez is a Research Associate at The University of Adelaide, currently working under the supervision of Dr Giang Nguyen. After pusuing a BSc in Actuarial Sciences and a MSc in Mathematics from the National University of México, he received his PhD in Applied Mathematics and Computer Science from the Technical University of Denmark in 2019. His research interests include risk theory, financial mathematics, phase-type and matrix-exponential distributions, Markov additive processes and stochastic differential equations.
