Kalpani Ishara is a PhD candidate in the Science and Engineering Faculty at QUT. She completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Peradeniya Sri Lanka in 2015 with a first class honours degree. Her PhD thesis is concerned with exploring factors that impact Emergency Department presentations in Australian public hospitals. This research is a collaborative work with Princess Alexandra hospital.
