Clara Grazian did a double PhD in France and Italy, working on Bayesian approaches for mixture models and copula models and then moved to the University of Oxford to work in a international project with the goal of better understand mechanisms of drug resistance developed by tuberculosis. After this experience, she decided to move to Australia in May 2019 to start a position as Senior Lecturer in the University of New South Wales. Her work still focuses on mixtures and copulas, with interest in variable selections, approximate Bayesian computation and nonparametric methodologies. She has developed collaborations with researchers in environmental sciences, engineering, cyber-security, social sciences and psychology.
