Postdoctoral Research Fellow - University of Technology, Sydney (UTS)

Under the direct supervision of Distinguished Professor Matt Wand, your role will be funded through will be funded by the Australian Research Council Discovery Project: Fast Approximate Inference Methods: New Algorithms, Applications and Theory.

To succeed you will bring to this role:

  • Doctoral qualifications in Statistics.
  • Familiarity with the R computing environment.
  • Familiarity with hierarchical Bayesian models.
  • Knowledge of the characteristics of reflective, academic writing.
  • Previous experience in conducting research in Statistics.

You will also have high level interpersonal skills and an ability to interact with all levels within the university and research sector.
