In this seminar, Javier Tordable, Google Cloud, will describe impactful problems across Google and industry to which mathematicians could contribute. This talk will be high-level, non-technical, and accessible by all.

Javier Tordable
Javier is a technology executive, investor and entrepreneur. In his role as Technical Director, CTO Office, he drives key strategic relationships for Google Cloud. He is passionate about helping organizations worldwide use AI to achieve impactful results.
In his 12 years at Google, Javier has been part of Search, Ads, Supply Chain and Cloud. Before Google, Javier was a Software Engineer at Microsoft, writing Machine Learning algorithms for the web search ranking system at Bing. Previously he studied in a Ph.D. program in Mathematics at the University of Valladolid in Spain.
