ACEMS is seeking to fill the position of ARC Grant-Funded Researcher.

In this position, you will work with Professor Matt Roughan, Dr Lewis Mitchell and Dr Jonathan Tuke at The University of Adelaide, as part of a joint program entitled `Modelling and Control of Networks’. 

  • (Level A) $86,587 to $92,796 per annum plus an employer contribution of up to 17% may apply
  • This fixed-term position is available until 30 September 2021

The successful candidate will be a qualified researcher with experience demonstrated by publications and/or conference participation, with the potential to further develop a strong publication record, skills in stochastic modelling, applied probability and network modelling.

To be successful you will need:

  • A PhD in mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent qualifications and research experience. Applicants who are nearing the completion of their PhD are also acceptable.
  • Research capability, as typically demonstrated by publications and/or conference participation, and the potential to develop further a good publication record.
  • Demonstrated skills in network modelling.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
  • Willingness to commit to the specified research project.
