The meeting provides an opportunity for Australian and international researchers to present and discuss the most recent research developments in Bayesian statistics. In this meeting, delegates are encouraged to make contacts with experienced researchers including internationally well-known keynote speakers. The interactive workshops and tutorials aim to discuss and resolve open problems using Bayesian methods by working in groups. The invited presentations contain a series of interesting and recent research topics related to Bayesian methodology. During the poster sessions, the presenters have the chance to discuss their research with other delegates in a relaxing environment.
Bayes on the Beach 2019 is the 13th International Workshop for the Australasian chapter of the International Society for Bayesian Analysis (ISBA) and the biennial meeting of the Bayesian Statistics section of the Statistical Society of Australia (SSA).
